Very unprofessional nursing and doctor staff. This place will judge you and treat you like a degenerate if they think your on something. It is borderline abuse. The security staff will be called to watch you and in the process embarrass you. They will deny you care while they run their "tests." They will deny you water while they run their "tests." They will deny you the proper privacy everyone so graciously deserves. I am beyond disappointed in Middlesex shoreline clinic. You used to be considered a very caring hospital, but your current employees treat their job like a joke.
Was the worse place I have ever been made me clean my own cut on my finger waited for an hour when there was only one person in front of me would not give me stiches on my finger that is all the way acrossed my index finger with meat showing... didnt evem put a bandaid on it for the ride home... (which bleed the whole 45 min drive home which I told them) than when it was time to leave didn't even explain how to exit ended up some where opposite off where I was to exit I had to ask somone how to exit....i left drove home going to get stiches at my local emergency room where it's much more perftional..... I just feel bad for all the people in that town might be worth a lil more if you drive to the next emergency room
This place is exremely slow. Went to the ER. Was taken back and put in a room within 25 minutes. Went downhill from there. 45 minutes to be seen by a PA. Lab work and an IV were ordered. 20 minutes before someone came in to draw blood. It was a paramedic who couldn't get any blood out. Then sent in another tech. Took multiple sticks to get blood. Then was so rushed, claiming they were very busy, dropped a tube of blood and spilled a cup of ice on the floor. She said she would be back to clean up. After a half hour and no one returned, I had to go out and get someone. The girl was in the back talking to someone else. After an hour and a half, from the IV order, I finally got it. The lady said "sorry, we're very busy and you got missed". Finally, the PA came back, said lab work was ok, was surprised to see the IV just hung and said "wow, you could have gone home if the IV had been finished". Once the IV did finish, it took another hour, before a nurse took it out so I could go home. The excuse was always the same "we're very busy". I said, "you must be short staffed" and the reply was " no, we actually have extra staff". Bottom line is I was there in the middle of the night at least two hours longer than necessary.
Waited 45 min in the waiting room, 20 min for a nurse to come in and another 30 min for the doctor....ridiculous. Don't waste your time.
I received treatment yesterday at the Shoreline clinic in Westbrook. I was lucky enough to be treated at the emergency room in a way that met my needs, was compassionate and actually talked and listen to me. That certainly does not happen at all hospitals. I commend the triage nurse, the other nurses and the doctors who took care of me. Thank you so much.
